Whats with the exclamation! marks man, you ask. Well it's like this. I'm kind of like into emo songs of late, so i decided to add a little screaming down here. Well not totally hardcore emo, but like half-emo. Stuff like Emery, Breaking Benjamin and My Chemical Romance. Stuff that contains screaming yes, but screaming that can be deciphered and tolerated. That kind of stuff. I don't really like hardcore emo, half the time you can't understand what the hell they're screaming about, and I would'nt even classify that as music. Sorry hardcore emo fans out there but thats just my opinion. If you guys know any half-emo bands out there that are decent ( I don't mind if they're satanic ), Drop a few names over here. Thanks people.

Kid prodigy...so what?

Ok sorry for not updating my blog for like a week. I've been busy. Right, lets get down to things. Im sure most of you have seen (or at least heard of) the like 7/8 year old boy drumming at Orchard Road. Quite a talented kid, I've seen him in action myself. But...I have to say i Don't like him. Why? No no it is'nt jealousy man. He goes there like what every week and shows off his drum skills? WTF man. After so long, I feel like telling him, we already know boy, you can stop now. Plus, he just drums for the sake of drumming, he does'nt feel "IT", his facial expression gives that away. Damn if you want to give off some zombie face then for goodness sake don't do it man. Kids these days...

Good Progress Awards suck

Recently two of my classmates received a cool $150 bucks from MOE or something because they had improved in their academic work. $150 dollars! Thats no joke okay. I think its unfair because they only award those who have improved but not thos who have consistently done better. Throughout the year, I've always been in the top five and for the first term, my classmates who received the award were like 10+ in the class. Over the year, they improved and got into the top 5 as well. This kind of makes me think that i should do badly on purpose in the first term and THEN excel in the following ones just to get that award. Well, its just unfair man. They should award those consistent students as well.

Project Runway. My favourite reality show. Im a little into fashion ( no im not gay ) so i make it a point to catch it every monday night. Oh and do you know season two of it has already begun a few weeks already over in America? Thats so unfair. We're too laggy. Anyway, im rooting for Jay even though i think Kara Saunn's gonna nick it anyway. And like everyone else, i hate Wendy to the core. Why is she such a bitch? Just the other day i wondered how to post pictures on my site and i downloaded this program called ummm...some picasawadda? Nevermind the name. Anyway, it was no help because, i don't even know how it works! Man! So guys im appealing for help. If you have any tips or help plz plz plz tell me. Im desperate. Those two words summed it up real good.

Just the other day i was asking my friend how to increase my blog traffic and how to monitor it so he told me to like tell my friend and download a site counter. I didnt know people actually bothered coming till i got the counter. On last count it was...35 i guess? Well when i saw that i...cried. So touching! Nah im joking. Im just glad you guys come over. Tell your friend about me thanks.

The blogosphere's favourite face

Well, after all the fuss over whether Dawn Yang Zhnged (Modified) her face, she seems to have gotten pretty upset, even stopping her blogging. Even though she doesnt admit it, its quite obvious. According to the pictures you can see on www.kennysia.com if you search "zhng my face" on his site. The before and after pictures are such a contrast, you'll doubt you're even looking at the same person.

But hey, who's complaining? Not her obviously, as she recently got on the cover of local men's magazine FHM. Anyway, i just found out that she's my friend's brother's friend's girlfriend. Yea it might take some time for you to digest what i just said and figure it out.

I go dancin dancin dancin...with black maria!

Ronin's "Black Maria" has got to be one of the hottest songs on the local scene right now. It's got me grooving along all day! Every night, every day! I go dancing with Black Maria! I understand they went on a couple of school tours but they have'nt came to mine yet. There are a couple of decent local bands here right now, including Electrico, with their funky songs, Parking lot Pimp's also good, and my favourite song of Serenaide has definitely got to be "Girl from Katong". Well i know there are lots more out there who deserve credit, but i dont know many local bands. Drop me a recommendation here perhaps? Yea. Just don't start putting the music you downloaded with Limewire or whatever on your blog. Lol. Cheers.

We the citizens of Singapore...

Today in class we were just talking about how the pledge and national anthem have already lost their meaning. We just do it for the sake of doing, you know, like every morning island-wide everyone gathers at 7.30 (students that is) to recite the pledge and sing the song. Like robots. I doubt even a third of us understand what we are singing and the attitude is mostly like..."Majullah!!!!!!!!!!!Singapura!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah what the heck lets just get over with it!". Yea. Well at least for us we dont sing the anthem everyday, only on like monday and stuff, unlike the government schools. So, if we dont feel anything whilst singing and "pledging", why do it?

Drums man! Just love em. You know all those videos you see on mtv, especially the rock ones? Dont you just wish the lead singer/guitarists would move outta the way so that you could get a better view of the drummer at work? At least for me (and all you drum fanatics out there). Well its a pity I cant take up drumming this year. The O's. Duh.

Well dont you juss miss primary school? Back then we just got a few 10 cent flag erasers and we had hours of endless fun. So would aimlessly running around trying to tag someone, a game we called what, "Catching"? Lol. Unlike nowadays, when we need mp3s and computer games to keep us satisfied. tsk tsk tsk

Remember years ago? When you were just a little toddler? All you had to do was draw a scrappy little picture and your parents would go gaga over it no matter how ugly it looked? And then when you grew up a little more homework was colouring a bunch of trees green and brown? After that, like you know, a year later you just had to say what 2+5 was equal to and praise would be heaped on you? Remember? Nowadays even if you do rather well academically the response would be like what..."You could have done better" * Throw A maths TYS* "Go and do summore". Sigh. How i miss the good old days...

Well...the million dollar question huh? Mr Brown perhaps? Or Kenny Sia? Achieving their status is kinda hard, but hey, I'll be up there...someday. Ultimately, I just want to have my own podcast and for it to be downloaded by thousands islandwide. Yep. Wait for me guys.

Well it seems everyone's into blogging these days, and i figure i should enter the blogosphere too. Ok it might not be such a good time to start a blog with my O's coming this year but I'll moderate the time i spend here. So...You won't be seeing much of me this year. End of the year perhaps? When i apply for Poly. Nope it aint cos i cant go to a JC. I just think Poly's better - despite the stereotype.
